{"id":1849,"date":"2017-06-09T09:48:50","date_gmt":"2017-06-09T08:48:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.globaldimension.com\/2017\/06\/creaform-metra-car-scan-riding-cafe\/"},"modified":"2017-06-09T09:48:50","modified_gmt":"2017-06-09T08:48:50","slug":"creaform-metra-car-scan-riding-cafe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.globaldimension.com\/th\/creaform-metra-car-scan-riding-cafe\/","title":{"rendered":"Creaform Metra car scan at Riding Cafe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->We scanned a 2017 <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mazda2\">Mazda 2<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0the Riding Caf\u00e9 in Nonthaburi, Bangkok.<\/p>\n<p>Our tool of choice was the latest model of Creaform\u2019s Metra scanner.\u00a0 This is an amazing scanner with 25 micron accuracy (1\/1000 inch) for objects the size of a car. \u00a0The Creaform scanner is very fast with 7 laser lines.\u00a0 We were scanning the car for an accessory manufacturer that makes plastic accessories for hundreds of different make\/model of cars. \u00a0Here are the steps we do:<\/p>\n<p>1) We scan with the Creaform Metra\/C-Track system, and using Creaform VX Elements software.<\/p>\n<p>2) The scan data is then processed in 3D Systems DesignX.
