Ferrari 575M 3D scan for new exhaust fabrication

The Ferrari 575M is quite a rare car, and even rarer in right-hand drive configuration. Because of this, there are few options for aftermarket exhaust systems. A bespoke design and fabrication was needed.

We 3D laser scanned the Ferrari 575M in Bangkok, Thailand, using a Creaform Metra scanner, Creaform C-Track system, and Creaform VXElements software. We processed the data in 3D Systems Wrap and 3D Systems DesignX, and finish with some 2D drawing in Dassault Systems SolidWorks.
